Milowai Maalaea is a 42 unit complex located on the south shore of Maui in the village of Maalaea. Maalaea is centrally located on the island of Maui, making it a great home base for trips to Lahaina (20 min), the Kahului airport- OGG, (15 min), Haleakala (~2 hrs.) and Hana (~6 hrs with stops).
Our Maui vacation rental is not just ocean view, it is Direct Ocean Front. The views from this Maui condo are simply breath taking. The waters edge is just steps away form the door. When the surf is up you can watch local Maui surfers ride the “Maalaea Freight Train”. At night you can watch the moon rise over Mt. Haleakala Volcano. By looking at the photos you can see that the pool is about 15 feet from the ocean. You can swim, snorkel and surf right in front of this Maui unit.
A Five Star restaurant is located within the Milowai, itself, and you can walk a short distance to several premium restaurants, the Maui Ocean Center and many delightful shops.
Almost all of the ocean activities available on Maui can be done from Maalaea Harbor, which is conveniently close, but not intrusive, including: scuba diving, deep sea fishing and romantic sunset cruises.
There are over four un-crowded miles of white sandy beach on Maui which fronts a bird and turtle nature conservancy, just a short stroll down the road. You can walk all the way to Sugar Beach and Kamaole Beach in Kihei. |
